Promoters and field campaigns — Promoter talking to a customer

What the job involves

A promotional campaign works when the promoter can start a conversation in a busy aisle and say two things about the product that are not printed on the packaging. The rest is logistics: materials on site, a daily report, photographs of the stand.

  • sampling and tastings at points of sale
  • product presentation and customer conversation
  • handing out samples, coupons and materials
  • reporting contact counts and samples distributed
  • staffing promotional stands and roadshows

Working with an exhibitor from abroad

We agree the language level for the specific task, not in general terms. One level is enough to invite visitors to the stand and point them in the right direction; a noticeably higher one is needed to talk about how the product is applied. Stating the language without the level is the most common source of disappointment after day one.

We also need a short briefing: who your customer is and what question identifies them. Our staff will not replace your sales team and we do not pretend otherwise — the job is to recognise the right person and hand the conversation over.
