What is specific about this market
From September to May the calendar is filled with corporate events and conferences in the city, where logistics are simple and a crew can be assembled within days. From June the weight shifts towards the coastal belt, and the same enquiry then means a different assignment altogether: open ground, holiday traffic, and a pool of people for which hospitality competes with us directly.
The practical rule is that an autumn date can be confirmed a week ahead with the staff still chosen to fit the requirements, while a July date has to be booked months in advance — by the peak we are choosing among whoever has a free day rather than among candidates. With larger crews that difference shows in quality, not only in price.
