In summer the work is outdoors: open-air events and campaigns aimed at visitors along the pier and the promenade, where the audience is on holiday rather than on a delegate list. Outside the season the weight shifts to conferences and galas in hotels that operate year-round, with registration and cloakroom in the classic arrangement.

The town is small, so movement between points is on foot and the logistics are simple. What is not simple at the peak is availability: event staffing competes with hospitality for the same people, and a room costs more than a daily journey from the neighbouring cities.
